The new maintenance building at Maryrest is located out of sight at the rear of the cemetery. Construction for the maintenance building consists of a pre-manufactured steel building containing 4,800 sq. ft. There are four maintenance bays as well as amenities including an office, lunchroom, and locker room with showers as well as storage space for the operation of the cemetery.
The cemetery administration building and sales office, which was previously located in an old house, received a new home adjacent to the Maryrest Chapel Mausoleum. Using conventional wood frame construction, 2,800 square feet of new office space was created. This new office provides both administration and sales office space. In addition, the building features public restrooms opening to the exterior and a drive-through lane for funeral directors.
Beyond mausoleums and columbaria, there are many other types of structures crucial to the operations and success of today’s cemeteries. Chapels, crematoriums, funeral homes, cemetery buildings, sales offices, maintenance buildings—the list goes on. CMC’s team is dedicated to helping you achieve the best construction project and return on investment possible. This Christ the King Office and Reception Center was designed and built by CMC, featuring New England-style architecture and multi-use.
The Funeral Center at Côte-des Neiges is located on Montreal’s Mount Royal, close to the Notre-Dame-des Neiges Cemetery. It was the first funeral center of this type in Quebec to offer a place of meditation, help, support and hope to families. It is owned and operated by SCI Management, L.P. Since opening in 1997, it has created solid ties with Montreal’s community by developing many special events (lectures, theatrical presentations) and by supporting several events (exhibits, seminars, etc.).
